Warehouse & Logistics Manager

About the role

The Warehouse & Logistics Manager leads all warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient use of systems, and on‑time delivery of goods. The role combines operational oversight with continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse operations: receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and FIFO/FEFO compliance.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for safety, housekeeping, and warehouse processes.
• Plan and execute regular stock takes, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
• Oversee utilisation of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ensure data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., QAD).
• Coordinate material planning, system postings, and operational reporting with internal teams.
• Plan and manage local and international logistics, delivery scheduling, and carrier coordination.
• Handle shipping documentation, customs requirements, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse and logistics teams; work with production, planning, procurement, finance, sales, and customer service.
• Evaluate third‑party logistics providers and transport vendors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit standards, and workplace safety regulations.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost productivity, accuracy, cost efficiency, and service quality.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems and ERP/MRP systems; experience with QAD is a plus.
