Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

KLA, which makes inspection tools and metrology systems for the semiconductor industry, is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor in Singapore. The role sits within the Global Operations team, which covers manufacturing, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, installation and quality, and works with the global supply base and design engineering teams. The supervisor oversees receiving, dispatching, inventory and material review board activities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
• Assign workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse Associates
• Communicate with production, buyers and planners on work order flow and troubleshoot problems
• Monitor inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
• Keep inventory and storage areas clean and maintained
• Supervise Warehouse Associates to ensure safety procedures are followed when operating forklifts and other machinery
• Monitor warehouse management systems to supervise inventory flow and adjust it to meet delivery deadlines
• Oversee Material Review Board (MRB) inventory, including segregation, accuracy, disposition execution and coordination with Quality, Engineering and Production teams, and timely processing of non-conforming materials
• Manage transport companies and 3PLs so that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
• Administer inventory control and cycle counts, and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
• Manage inventory according to established guidelines, including labeling, locating and picking parts, and recording and communicating inventory levels
• Help production, planners and buyers resolve shipment issues and complaints
• Contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes, and carry out ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior

Required profile

• Degree in Logistics Management
• Excellent leadership skills, including setting goals, motivating others and managing conflict
• Strong project management skills, with decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
• Exceptional time management and organization skills
• In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
• Familiarity with inventory control practices and logistics
• Team player able to multi-task and organize work systematically
• Process improvement mindset and ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing, demanding environment
