Warehouse Technician - Receiving and Shipping

About the role

Micron is hiring a Technician for its DAST warehouse (receiving and shipping) at Fab 10N/X. The role covers the daily operation of receiving and shipping functions in line with company policies and procedures, working closely with internal parties and forwarders on shipping arrangements and material delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Run the daily receiving and shipping operations in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Keep close communication with relevant parties and forwarders on shipping arrangements and delivery of materials.
• Inspect the physical condition and contents of received goods and compare them with records such as manifests, invoices or orders to verify accuracy.
• Prepare shipping documents, invoices and packing lists for outgoing shipments.
• Take part in continuous improvement initiatives, including receiving automation, process automation and AI-driven approaches to problem detection, prediction and performance optimisation.
• Promote a safe and green working environment through processes, procedures and training aligned with safety, quality and sustainability goals.
• Use AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve efficiency and quality, and share AI-enabled improvements within your scope of work.

Required profile

• GCE 'O' level / SPM.
• Higher NITEC (ITC) / NITEC (NTC-2 or Intermediate) or a Diploma in Wafer Fabrication, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse, shipping or receiving operations is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented and growth-minded.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI tools responsibly for research, analysis, content creation, problem solving and operational tasks.
