Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator

About the role

Citadel Search is looking for a Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator with LTA Project experience to ensure that all site activities follow relevant safety and environmental standards. The role proactively implements and enforces safety protocols on site to meet regulatory compliance and minimise risk, within a global MNC.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure tunnel site activities comply with workplace safety and health (WSH) and environmental laws and regulations
• Develop, implement and maintain safety practices as outlined by the WSH Act
• Enforce site-specific safety policies and operational safety procedures
• Carry out frequent on-site inspections and take corrective action when needed
• Lead safety briefings, training sessions and awareness programmes for workers
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, incident reports and related documents
• Support other duties assigned by site management

Required profile

• Valid Level B certification in Workplace Safety and Health
• Valid certification in Confined Space Management
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in tunnel construction safety, preferably in infrastructure or civil engineering
• Open to a 6-day work schedule on 12-hour shifts
