Youth Worker (Bedok)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Youth Worker to join our team in Bedok, Singapore. You will support students with special educational needs (SEN) by delivering life‑skill programmes and providing individualized assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct age‑appropriate activities covering life skills, positive behaviour, emotional regulation, coping strategies and resilience.
• Provide group and one‑to‑one support, building rapport and adapting approaches to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate closely with school staff, including SENO, form teachers and counsellors, aligning activities with students’ IEPs where applicable.
• Maintain accurate session records and submit mid‑term and end‑of‑contract progress reports.
• Follow safeguarding policies and promptly refer any welfare concerns to the appropriate school personnel.

Required profile

• Registered with the Ministry of Education.
• Recognised qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, Special Education, Psychology or a related field (minimum Diploma level).
• At least 2 years of experience working with children or youth with SEN, preferably ID, ASD or ADHD.
• Familiarity with positive behaviour support strategies and trauma‑informed approaches.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of SGD 3,000‑3,300 per month.
• Full‑time, fixed‑term contract from 14 September 2026 to 3 September 2027.
• Work schedule: Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm (no weekends or public holidays).
