About the role

We are seeking an Accountant on a 1‑year contract to lead our accounts receivable function and ensure accurate financial reporting in line with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

Manage and supervise a team of Accounts Receivable staff.
Oversee monthly financial closing and prepare/review management reports.
Prepare, review and follow up balance‑sheet reconciliations.
Compile quarterly statements, year‑end statutory reports and tax computations.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting and internal control compliance.
Support ad‑hoc projects assigned by the Finance Manager or Financial Controller.

Required profile

Degree in Accountancy or ACCA (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG or retail.
Proven experience managing an accounts team.
Experience working with ERP/Oracle integrated systems.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal abilities.
Leadership, meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
