Accountant – Full Set & Month-End Closing

About the role

M-DAQ Global is seeking an Accountant to join its finance team in Singapore. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing month‑end financial statements, and supporting the company’s cross‑border payment and FX operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare general ledger journals, month‑end schedules, and full set accounts in compliance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Produce monthly financial reports, GST returns, and reconcile trade, bank, and revenue accounts.
• Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and issue invoices while following up on customer payments.
• Assist with statutory audits, tax compliance, and other regulatory matters.
• Identify and resolve accounting issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and controls.
• Support ad‑hoc finance projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 1‑3 years of experience in auditing or accounting, preferably from a Big 4 firm.
• Professional qualification such as CA or CPA.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a sense of responsibility and urgency.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software.
