Accountant – Full Set & Regulatory Reporting

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join a high‑performing finance team within a diversified infrastructure investment group. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will own the full spectrum of accounting and regulatory functions for both management and holding entities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts (AR, AP, GL) and perform analytical variance reviews.
• Prepare monthly management reporting packs for head‑office stakeholders.
• Draft statutory financial statements and XBRL filings, ensuring compliance with listed‑company regulations.
• Liaise with external auditors, trustees, and tax agents on statutory and tax matters.
• Develop quarterly rolling forecasts, annual budgets, and cash‑flow projections.
• Manage related‑party transaction registers and quarterly GST returns.
• Uphold internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and SOPs.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field with professional accreditation.
• Relevant progressive accounting experience, preferably in a real‑estate environment.
• Proven track record handling full‑set accounts, GST returns, and corporate tax filings.
• Strong understanding of statutory and regulatory compliance for listed entities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills.
