Accounting & Tax Specialist (Singapore)

About the role

Accelleron is looking for an independent, detail‑oriented Accounting & Tax Specialist to join its Finance team in Singapore. You will be responsible for general‑ledger accounting, AR/AP oversight, treasury support, audit and tax compliance, and travel‑expense administration, ensuring alignment with US GAAP, local statutory rules and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute monthly and year‑end close activities, including journal entry approvals, accruals, provisions and cut‑off.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations and clear reconciling items promptly.
• Oversee AR and AP processes performed by shared services or local teams, supervising vendor payments, collections and dispute resolution.
• Act as primary finance contact for internal and external audits, handling audit schedules and queries.
• Manage Yokoy travel‑expense system in Singapore, reviewing escalated claims and reconciling with the ERP.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with shared‑service and regional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with auditors, vendors and internal teams.

Required skills

• US GAAP knowledge
• Experience with Yokoy T&E platform
• Familiarity with ERP systems for accounting and expense reconciliation
