Accounts Assistant / Executive

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accounts Assistant/Executive to join our wholesale trade team. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounts receivable and petty‑cash activities while ensuring accurate record‑keeping and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Post accounts receivable entries to the accounting system and reconcile daily incoming payments (bank and cash).
• File paperwork, deliver physical invoices to the designated letterbox, and maintain organized records.
• Prepare monthly statements of account (SOA) and GST reports for accounts receivable.
• Manage petty‑cash transactions: receive receipts, record, dispense cash, and post entries to the system.
• Perform banking tasks related to both AR and petty‑cash functions.
• Handle ad‑hoc assignments and adapt duties based on performance and business needs.

Required profile

• Highly motivated and task‑oriented individual.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
• Responsible, detail‑focused, and able to manage time effectively.
• Available to work a standard five‑day week.
