Accounts Intern – Finance Support Role

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Intern to support our Finance team in daily accounting operations. This role offers hands‑on experience in both accounts payable and receivable, as well as exposure to month‑end processes. You will work closely with senior staff to develop practical finance skills.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processing.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Support bank reconciliations and month‑end closing activities.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and related documentation.
• Organise and file financial documents.
• Assist with GST filings, audit preparation, and other finance‑related tasks.
• Provide administrative support to the Finance team.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Detail‑oriented, organised, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Willingness to learn with good communication and teamwork skills.
