Accounts Officer

About the role

The Accounts Officer will join the finance team of a leading luxury hotel in Singapore, supporting daily financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting. This role contributes to the integrity of financial data and assists various departments with finance‑related guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Verify eClaim submissions and manual petty cash transactions.
• Process invoices promptly, obtaining necessary approvals.
• Prepare and post journal entries for month‑end closing.
• Update and review balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist operational teams with finance enquiries and provide guidance.
• Maintain fixed‑asset records and reconcile the Fixed Asset Register to the balance sheet.
• Update monthly CAPEX data and prepare annual CAPEX reports.
• Analyse expenses in the Profit & Loss statement and support internal control improvements.
• Participate in finance projects and ad‑hoc reporting tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month‑end processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Effective written and oral communication abilities.
• Team player who can also work independently.
