Adjunct Lecturer – Master of IT in Business

About the role

SMU is seeking an Adjunct Lecturer to teach in its Master of IT in Business (MITB) programme. The role involves delivering seminar‑style instruction to small‑class cohorts, using the university’s highly interactive, collaborative and project‑based learning approach.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver course modules within the MITB specialisation tracks (Financial Technology & Analytics, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation).
• Facilitate interactive, technology‑enabled sessions that encourage student collaboration and real‑world problem solving.
• Contribute to the academic community through research and publication aligned with SMU’s mission of leading‑edge impact.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualifications in information systems, computer science, data analytics, AI or related fields.
• Experience in teaching or industry practice that aligns with the MITB curriculum.
