Adjunct Lecturer – Master of IT in Business (MITB)

About the role

Singapore Management University (SMU) is seeking an Adjunct Lecturer for its Master of IT in Business (MITB) programme within the School of Computing and Information Systems (SCIS). The MITB programme delivers professionally oriented coursework across four specialisation tracks: Financial Technology & Analytics, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation.

SMU, established in 2000, is internationally recognised for its research impact and entrepreneurial leadership. The SCIS community includes over 40 tenure‑track faculty and 30 practice‑focused educators, providing a supportive environment for academic scholarship and industry‑relevant teaching.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars and project‑based sessions for MITB courses.
• Engage with small‑class, interactive learning environments.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of course materials.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualifications in information systems, computer science, data analytics, artificial intelligence or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the graduate level.
