About the role
As an Administrative Assistant at SBM Offshore, you will keep daily operations running smoothly by providing comprehensive administrative support to your assigned department, executive, or project team. Your work will ensure organized processes, clear communication, and efficient workflow across the company.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and maintain essential documents, draft professional correspondence, and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments with timely reminders.
- Arrange travel logistics, creating detailed itineraries for flights, hotels, and transportation.
- Support meeting preparation by handling logistics, drafting agendas, and coordinating follow‑ups.
- Assist internal projects by tracking timelines, organising resources, and facilitating task completion.
- Process expense reports and purchase requests while ensuring policy compliance.
- Maintain office supplies inventory to guarantee operational continuity.
- Serve as the point of contact for routine communication with internal and external stakeholders, escalating issues when necessary.
Required profile
- High School Diploma with vocational training or an advanced technical certificate.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar administrative assistant role.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating complex documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
