After School Student Care Teacher – English & Science

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic After‑School Student Care Teacher to deliver English Language and Science lessons to primary students (Primary 1‑6) in our Novena centre. You will support children’s homework completion, monitor progress, and create a safe, engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the centre’s curriculum and policies for English and Science.
• Guide primary pupils through daily homework and enrichment activities.
• Maintain accurate records of each child’s progress and address individual learning needs.
• Prepare and organise teaching resources, classroom layout, and learning materials.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Ensure safe transfer of students from school to the centre and overall safety on premises.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned by the Centre Director.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher qualification in any discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience with primary school students.
• Ability to teach both English Language and Science to primary levels.
