AI Chinese Language Expert (Freelance)

About the role

We are seeking native‑level Chinese speakers to evaluate and improve AI systems designed for Chinese language learning. Your linguistic expertise and teaching background will directly influence how the AI assesses, corrects, and interacts with millions of learners worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Review AI‑generated Chinese speech and text for accuracy, naturalness, and pedagogical quality.
• Assess learner submissions across CEFR levels Pre‑A1 to B2+ and identify errors or unnatural phrasing.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to enhance AI tutoring models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
• Help raise the overall reliability of AI‑driven language instruction.

Required profile

• Native‑level proficiency in Chinese.
• Experience teaching Chinese or evaluating learner language.
• Fluent English (C1/C2 level).
• Familiarity with CEFR frameworks and learner speech patterns.
• Enrolled in or completed a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment.
