AI Product Manager

About the role

We are building autonomous agents that operate computers like humans. As the AI Product Manager you will own the product roadmap, decide which workflows the agent masters first, and guide the engineering team to deliver at startup speed.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for Simular’s agent platform, prioritizing the highest‑impact workflows based on user value, technical feasibility, and business opportunity.
• Write detailed, unambiguous specifications that engineers can build from without back‑and‑forth, setting a high standard for clarity.
• Run sprints for the product engineering team, managing the backlog, unblocking issues, and driving on‑time delivery.
• Conduct user testing, analyze usage data, and iterate rapidly on the agent’s interaction model and UX.
• Define success metrics for agent reliability, speed, and user satisfaction, and drive the team to achieve them.
• Keep research and engineering tightly aligned on goals, timelines, and trade‑offs across time zones.
• Be the voice of the user internally, translating real‑world pain points into product priorities with conviction.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience shipping complex software products, with the ability to read API documentation, discuss latency trade‑offs, and engage in technical conversations.
• Thrives in ambiguity and enjoys the chaos of early‑stage building, creating playbooks rather than waiting for them.
• Produces clear specifications that leave no room for misinterpretation, earning engineers’ trust.
• Deep empathy for users and makes decisions based on data, not assumptions.
• Strong communicator who can align cross‑functional, cross‑timezone teams without friction.
• Bias for action, preferring to ship and learn over prolonged planning.
