AI Solution Architect

About the role

PwC is hiring an AI Solution Architect (manager level) for its Risk Management line of service in Assurance. The role leads technical solutioning in client pre-sales and discovery, turning business problems into AI architectures such as RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, SDLC automation, data platforms and model risk frameworks. It also owns the technical parts of client proposals and engagement scoping documents.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business problems into AI architectures and own the technical sections of proposals and scoping documents, including architecture diagrams and implementation sequencing.
• Build and maintain reusable accelerators and demo assets deployable within 48 hours for client workshops.
• Lead or co-lead technical delivery on AI pilot engagements from architecture through to production handover.
• Keep up with the AI tooling landscape, especially the Anthropic/Claude ecosystem, and advise on AI governance and responsible AI design for financial services clients subject to MAS regulatory scrutiny on model risk, explainability and audit trails.

Required profile

• 5-14 years of enterprise technology experience; minimum 2 years in production AI delivery.
• Python proficiency for LLM integration, API development, data engineering and automation scripting.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms (Azure OpenAI Service, AWS Bedrock or GCP Vertex AI).
• Strongly preferred: hands-on production experience with the Anthropic/Claude ecosystem, including Claude API, Claude Code, MCP and prompt engineering.
• Preferred: local LLM deployment, GitHub Copilot or Cursor, open-source agent frameworks, SDLC automation, security and compliance design, and front-end familiarity with React.

• LLM orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen)
• Vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, pgvector)
• Docker, basic Kubernetes and GitHub Actions
• Preferred: Anthropic API, MCP, batch/streaming handling, and AI safety and responsible AI design
