Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation Engineer

About the role

The ACMV Engineer will design, implement, commission and maintain air‑conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems for building and facilities projects. You will work closely with consultants, contractors, clients and internal teams to deliver safe, efficient and compliant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and manage ACMV/HVAC systems for building and facilities projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers and other engineering disciplines.
• Oversee ACMV installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure works match approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost and technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot ACMV issues and provide engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, energy efficiency, statutory and environmental requirements.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance as needed.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates and project documentation.
• Participate in site and technical meetings with clients, consultants and contractors.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in ACMV/HVAC design, project management, installation or facilities management.
• Good knowledge of Singapore codes, standards and statutory requirements.
