AIX Field Service Engineer

About the role

Applied Materials, a global leader in materials science and engineering, is seeking an AIX Field Service Engineer for its Singapore site. You will support advanced semiconductor and display equipment, contributing to AI advancement and next‑generation chip commercialization while working in a supportive, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead continual improvement projects for digital tool space.
• Communicate complex technical information internally.
• Provide guidance on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Deploy, configure, and propagate digital tools (DTs).
• Maintain the FSS system, monitor alarms, propagate models, and adjust model limits.
• Serve as the main point of contact for issue escalation at the site.
• Mentor colleagues on DT usage, tools, signals, and systems.

Required profile

• Demonstrated conceptual knowledge of theories, practices, and procedures within the discipline.
• Familiarity with Applied Materials products and applications.
• No supervisory responsibilities; accountable for technical contributions.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems and make judgments.
• Limited impact on own work team, operating within standardized procedures to meet deadlines.
• Effective exchange of straightforward information, asking questions and confirming understanding.
