APAC Business Development Manager

About the role

Our client, a US‑based digital asset infrastructure provider, is expanding rapidly across APAC. They are seeking an APAC Business Development Manager to generate leads, build strategic partnerships, and drive top‑of‑funnel growth in Greater China and Southeast Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective partners across banks, payment service providers, fintechs, and other financial institutions.
• Generate qualified pipeline through outbound outreach and nurture relationships with complex enterprise organisations.
• Lead negotiations and partnership discussions with clients in Mandarin‑speaking markets.
• Collaborate with internal product and compliance teams to align partnership proposals with regulatory requirements.
• Report on market trends, competitive landscape, and partnership performance to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 5+ years of business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales experience in fintech, payments, banking, RegTech, blockchain, or digital assets.
• Proven success selling to or partnering with banks, PSPs, fintechs, or other financial institutions.
• Strong understanding of blockchain, stablecoins, digital‑asset infrastructure, and Web3 concepts (technical expertise not required).
• Demonstrated ability to build a qualified pipeline and navigate complex enterprise structures.
• Fluent Mandarin required for regular communication with clients and partners in Greater China and Chinese‑speaking Southeast Asian markets.
