APAC Regional Engineering Lead

About the role

JLL is hiring an APAC Regional Engineering Lead, based on-site in Singapore. The role provides tactical and strategic engineering leadership for a portfolio of corporate real estate and colocation data centres across the Asia Pacific region, ensuring technical and contractual quality assurance so that all properties comply with country, regional, global and technical standards. It also contributes to operational leadership, project identification and execution, sustainability initiatives and capacity management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engineering for owned and leased corporate real estate buildings and colocation data centres
• Oversee major works in APAC, including power-down planning, execution and refurbishment project management
• Review M&E contractor maintenance and service practices against manufacturer recommendations and technical standards
• Apply regulatory compliance management and manage capacity and utilization for offices, server rooms and data centres
• Support incident management, including the 24/7 on-call escalation path and root cause analysis
• Develop and implement utility, CO2 and cost-saving initiatives
• Govern as-built drawings, OEM information and SOP/EOP production for APAC
• Manage colocation data centre performance through annual due diligence inspections, monthly reviews and regulatory audits
• Partner with IT services and clients to align load forecasts with capacity and ensure SLA compliance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a highly related technical discipline
• Minimum 10 years of engineering management experience, including dedicated data centre experience
• Proven senior leadership track record
• Preferred: APAC corporate real estate experience (North Asia), multi-site colocation portfolio management, sustainability management plans, and technical training delivery
