APAC Site Start-Up Manager

About the role

Precision for Medicine, a leading Clinical Research Organization, is seeking an experienced Manager to lead Site Start‑Up (SSU) activities across the APAC region. You will mentor and coach a team of SSU professionals, ensuring high‑quality execution and compliance with all regulatory and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, mentor, manage and coach SSU personnel to maintain Precision’s quality standards.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to oversee task progress and support career development.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for site start‑up activities and ensure compliance with SOPs, GCP/ICH guidelines, and project plans.
• Provide resources, training, and system access needed for team performance.
• Oversee administrative compliance such as time entry, billing, and expense reporting.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews for SSU staff.
• Develop and enforce robust standards and processes for consistent execution.
• Manage FTE allocation per project to align billing with budgets.
• Lead department meetings and support internal initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 6 years of clinical research experience with extensive site start‑up exposure.
• Proven line‑management or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines and the clinical development process.
• Demonstrated competence in people management and teamwork.
