APAC Spatial Designer – Retail Store Design

About the role

The APAC Spatial Design role at CHAGEE APAC focuses on creating visually compelling and functional store environments across the Asia‑Pacific region. You will shape flagship and concept stores, develop visual merchandise displays, and ensure every space reflects the brand while enhancing the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, develop and implement store design concepts and layouts aligned with brand identity and operational needs.
• Select and specify FF&E, fixtures, materials, and finishes to create the desired ambiance.
• Create visual merchandise displays that drive sales and improve the shopping journey.
• Optimise store layouts for efficient space use, customer flow, and product visibility.
• Collaborate with Head of Design, brand & marketing, and operations teams for cohesive design solutions.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, suppliers and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Incorporate sustainable design practices and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Stay updated on market trends and present design proposals with performance metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in store design, visual merchandising, and interior design, preferably in retail/F&B.
• Strong creative and innovative thinking with a passion for retail design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
