Application Developer Intern

About the role

Join Fujitsu Asia's ServiceNow Practice team as an Application Developer Intern in Singapore. You will work on real IT service management (ITSM) projects for government and private‑sector clients, gaining hands‑on experience across the full software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and explore a ServiceNow Personal Developer Instance (PDI).
• Study client use cases in HR, IT and finance workflows.
• Rotate through Business Analyst, Developer, Tester and Consultant roles.
• Gather requirements, design solutions and build features in Agile sprints.
• Perform system and user acceptance testing on your own and peer deliverables.
• Configure AI‑powered ServiceNow features such as Now Assist and Virtual Agent.
• Present weekly demos and a final showcase to senior leadership.
• Sit for the ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) exam and compile handover documentation.

Required profile

• Pursuing a diploma or degree in IT or a related field.
• Self‑motivated and able to learn independently via online platforms.
• Willing to attempt the ServiceNow CSA certification during the internship.
• Comfortable participating in daily Agile stand‑ups and sprint ceremonies.
• Strong written English for documentation and client‑facing artefacts.
• Prior exposure to ERP, ITSM or other enterprise platforms is a plus.

Required skills

• ServiceNow platform knowledge (including PDI).
• Agile development methodology.
• Understanding of IT service management (ITSM) concepts.
