Application Engineer - Cybersecurity Solutions

About the role

InsiderSecurity is looking for an Application Engineer in Singapore to act as the technical expert for its cybersecurity solutions. The role supports users in achieving strong security, advises them on deployment architecture and best practices, and serves as the link between users and the product engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Understand user requirements and support users in securing their organizations
• Advise customers on deployment architecture and best practices
• Deploy and configure solutions in customer data centers or cloud environments
• Develop and configure use cases to meet user needs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Support the sales team with technical demos and answers to technical inquiries
• Act as the interface between users and the product engineering teams

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• Singapore citizenship or permanent residency
• Prior experience as an application field engineer or customer success engineer is an advantage

Required skills

• Experience with Python or other high-level programming languages
• Bash scripting is a plus
• Familiarity with system administration (Windows, Linux, AWS, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, good communication and presentation skills, and ability to work in a collaborative team
