Application & Technology Risk Specialist

About the role

The Application & Technology Risk Specialist will support critical technology initiatives for a global banking organization. This role focuses on application governance and vulnerability management across business‑critical enterprise platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with technology teams to support risk, governance, and control activities across enterprise applications.
• Coordinate and track remediation activities related to technology, security, and operational issues.
• Support system lifecycle initiatives, including upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning.
• Maintain governance documentation, risk logs, status reporting, and related artefacts.
• Monitor progress of identified issues and ensure appropriate follow‑up with stakeholders.
• Prepare updates and reporting materials for management and governance forums.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet risk management and compliance objectives.

Required profile

• Experience in application governance, technology risk, cybersecurity, production or application support, release management, or related functions.
• Background in financial services, banking, or other regulated environments.
• Exposure to vulnerability management, risk remediation, audit, governance, and control processes.
• Understanding of application infrastructure and enterprise technology platforms.
• Ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
