Applications Support Technical Lead Analyst

About the role

Citi is hiring an Applications Support Technical Lead Analyst in Singapore. The role leads L2 production support for mission-critical applications, partners with engineering, architecture, infrastructure and business teams, and acts as a technical authority advising on systems, risks and security. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead L2 production support for mission-critical applications, ensuring stability, resilience and 24/7 availability
• Drive incident management, real-time coordination, rapid triage and timely restoration
• Perform deep root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure long-term preventive solutions
• Build partnerships with engineering, architecture, infrastructure and business teams, and act as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
• Design observability dashboards using SLIs, SLOs, latency and business KPIs, and troubleshoot telemetry across on-prem, ECS, Kubernetes and cloud environments
• Integrate and optimize monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Open Telemetry, ELK, AppDynamics and ITRS Geneos, and embed observability NFRs into the SDLC
• Apply SRE fundamentals to improve reliability and reduce operational toil, and evaluate new tooling
• Identify L2 operational use cases for AI-driven automation and remediation, and help build business cases for Citi AI solutions
• Assess risk, uphold compliance with laws and regulations, and escalate control issues transparently

Required profile

• 10-15 years of progressive experience leading highly scalable production platforms
• Strong knowledge of corporate banking, including critical payment flows and transaction processing
• Demonstrated leadership in high-availability, large-scale financial environments and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree; master's degree preferred
