Area Sales Operations Specialist

About the role

As an Area Sales Operations Specialist you will partner with the regional sales organization to enhance reporting, forecasting, data quality, and incentive plan management. You will help drive disciplined sales planning and operational excellence across the area.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales incentive plan processes, including administration, communication, tracking, and governance.
• Maintain and improve CRM data quality for accounts, customers, pricing, and opportunities.
• Partner with sales leaders on territory alignment, account assignments, quota tracking, and coverage planning.
• Collaborate with finance on sample budget allocation and manage the MySample dashboard.
• Oversee the Command Center – user access, data quality, system governance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate sales operations tools, processes, and standard ways of working across the area.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Support sales team onboarding and adoption of systems, reporting tools, and operational processes.
• Work with cross‑functional partners (Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Business teams) to ensure alignment.
• Monitor key sales metrics, follow up on performance gaps, data issues, and operational actions.
• Contribute to planning cycles, business reviews, forecasting, pipeline analysis, and risk identification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in sales operations, analytics or commercial support.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience in process improvement or project coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across teams.

Required skills

• Salesforce (CRM) experience.
• Power BI or Tableau for reporting and visualization.
• Vistex or Varicent systems experience.
