Asset Servicing Intermediate Analyst

About the role

Citi's Securities Services team is hiring an Asset Servicing Intermediate Analyst (internal title: Asset Servicing - C11) based in Changi Business Park, Singapore, working in a hybrid arrangement. The role manages the vault for physical securities processing and handles corporate action events, and sits within the Operations - Transaction Services job family.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the vault for physical securities processing and reconcile and process positions related to corporate action events, including notifications and facilitating postings.
• Develop client-specific service solutions and maintain quality control.
• Perform multiple transactions of moderate complexity to achieve operating efficiency and productivity.
• Minimise risk by applying procedural requirements and adhering to audit and control policies, and take part in compliance-related procedures and controls.
• Design documents to reduce manual touch points in processing, take part in system testing, and stay aware of product changes and system enhancements.
• Support the team during high-volume periods, provide backup coverage and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
• Assess risk in business decisions, uphold compliance with laws and regulations, and escalate and report control issues transparently.

Required profile

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to deal with most problems independently and to resolve complex issues related to the analysis of hedge fund activities.
• Good understanding of how the team and area fit into the wider objectives of the subfunction/job family.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of securities processing, with a solid understanding of hedge fund industry standards and practices.
• Basic to intermediate level experience in a related role.
• Communication with tact and diplomacy when exchanging complex or sensitive information.
