Asset Transfer Specialist (Wealth Management Ops)

About the role

DBS is hiring an Associate or Senior Associate, Asset Transfer Specialist within its Wealth Management Operations unit (CBWMO, Group COO). The role is primarily responsible for accurately and timely processing of different types of security transfers, supporting the unit's initiatives and projects. It is based at the DBS Asia Hub and is a regular, full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Process different types of transfer covering equities, fixed income, funds and digital assets
• Liaise with CDP, the front office and external third parties for security transfers
• Work with the front office and custodian to ensure smooth settlement transfers
• Investigate and follow up on all cash and securities breaks promptly
• Ensure all transfer instructions are processed in line with the Bank's operating guidelines and compliance with market requirements
• Handle security transfer queries from the front office and other stakeholders
• Assist in and lead ad-hoc projects, working with stakeholders to ensure timely implementation
• Perform other duties assigned from time to time and support the team leader as needed

Required profile

• Diploma or degree holder with at least 4 years of relevant experience in asset transfer, preferably in a private banking setup
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, including handling volume surges
