Assistant Accounting Manager

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail‑oriented Assistant Accounting Manager to join a US multinational electronic component manufacturer and distributor operating in Singapore. As a key member of the Finance team, you will ensure accurate financial records and support the overall financial operations across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full set of accounts for Singapore and its Vietnam subsidiaries.
• Review and analyse product costing reports for manufacturing plants.
• Manage transfer pricing documentation between Singapore and other Asian manufacturing sites.
• Liaise with auditors and tax agents on subsidiary audit and tax matters, including tax planning.
• Handle GST filing and coordinate with external consultants for MES renewal.
• Supervise the Accounts Payable function to ensure timely payments.
• Implement ERP system improvements to increase efficiency.
• Lead and develop the accounting staff.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Qualified CPA.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems.
