Assistant Director, Finance

About the role

The Assistant Director, Finance will lead the finance and accounting function for a portfolio of hospitality entities across multiple jurisdictions. You will provide strategic oversight of reporting, controls, and governance while partnering with senior management to drive asset performance and long‑term value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Deliver accurate management reports, variance analysis and performance dashboards for property, hospitality and investment metrics.
• Direct annual budgeting and periodic forecasting at entity and group levels, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Manage cash flow planning, financing administration and covenant monitoring with banks and partners.
• Provide oversight of corporate income tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax and statutory reporting across jurisdictions.
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors and coordinate statutory and group audits.
• Own finance and accounting systems, enforce internal controls and champion process standardisation and automation.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with proven experience leading finance teams in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to advise senior management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and automation initiatives.
