Assistant Engineer - Facilities

About the role

JLL is hiring an Assistant Engineer, Facilities, based on-site in Singapore. The role supports the Facilities Manager in technical services, maintenance and operations, vendor management, finance, contracts and procurement, project management and occupancy services. It covers building and manufacturing facilities, including cleanroom operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver services in line with the client's Service Level Agreement and achieve KPIs and SLA targets.
• Understand the site's operational and technical needs and act as the key technical contact for the Facilities Manager.
• Establish engineering and operational procedures, run energy management and preventive maintenance programmes, and set up quarterly performance measurement.
• Take early part in facilities operations, advise during site inspections and project development, and manage the M&E scope of projects to meet quality and time targets.
• Plan and oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing and civil works, and provide 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance.
• Manage contract vendors, run technical audits and check that safety, disaster recovery and business continuity procedures are in place.
• Produce monthly operation and maintenance reports for the client and take part in client-initiated EHS, BCP and ERT programmes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standard operating procedures, fire, health and safety regulations and company audit programmes, and protect staff health and safety.

Required profile

• University degree or professional qualification in engineering or facilities management.
• Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese, able to explain technical issues to colleagues, clients and vendors.
• On-site position in Singapore.
