Assistant Engineer – Security Systems

About the role

As an Assistant Engineer in Security Systems at Trinet Technologies, you will support the technical team in maintaining, troubleshooting, installing and testing CCTV, access control and other surveillance solutions to ensure reliable service and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CCTV, surveillance equipment and access control systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on‑site or remotely to minimise downtime.
• Assist in installation, configuration and testing of security systems to meet project specifications.
• Provide follow‑up technical support to clients after service visits.
• Prepare detailed service reports, maintain documentation and update maintenance logs.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and project teams to support execution and problem resolution.
• Ensure all technical work complies with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITE certification in Security System Technology or a related field.
• Valid Class 3 driver’s licence (preferred but not essential).

Required skills

• CCTV and surveillance equipment maintenance.
• Access control system troubleshooting.
• Installation and configuration of security hardware.
• Technical report writing and documentation.
