Assistant Field Service Engineer – Breathing Apparatus (Training Provided)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Field Service Engineer to support the start‑up, maintenance and repair of breathing‑apparatus equipment for a leading medical‑device multinational. The role is based in Singapore and includes on‑site service, safety responsibilities and hands‑on technical work, with full training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Support start‑up, contract maintenance and safety‑focused service activities.
• Carry out routine preventive maintenance, logging, corrective maintenance and warranty repairs.
• Service and repair personal protection equipment, respond to emergency breakdown calls and ad‑hoc projects.
• Manage order fulfilment in close collaboration with the Service team.
• Liaise with customers, service supervisors, coordinators and logistics on technical queries, status updates and deliveries.
• Ensure optimal equipment turnaround and breakdown response times.
• Provide support to additional service tasks as required.
• Communicate technical information clearly in written and verbal form.
• Participate in Workplace Safety & Health activities as directed.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Fresh or entry‑level candidate with strong interest in medical‑device service.
