Assistant Financial Controller

About the role

The Assistant Financial Controller supports the Group Senior Financial Controller in shaping and executing the Group’s financial strategy. This senior‑level position leads daily finance operations, ensures accurate reporting, and provides insights that drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Report directly to the Group Senior Financial Controller and assist in group‑level financial planning and decision‑making.
• Lead day‑to‑day finance operations, driving process improvements, system enhancements, and strengthening internal controls.
• Oversee preparation, review, and consolidation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and management accounts.
• Prepare and review Board and management papers with clear financial analysis and commentary.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and SGX Mainboard reporting obligations.
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors, bankers, tax consultants, and other advisers.
• Support ad‑hoc assignments, special projects, and corporate initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field; CPA, CA or equivalent preferred.
• 8‑10 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in a leadership or deputy controller role.
• Strong knowledge of SGX Mainboard listing and reporting requirements.
