Assistant Head of Projects (Hospitality)

About the role

The Assistant Head of Projects, Development and Execution supports strategic planning, development and delivery of hospitality projects. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure projects meet time, budget and quality targets while aligning with business goals and stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in defining project strategies, feasibility studies, business cases and risk assessments.
• Develop project roadmaps, governance frameworks and execution plans.
• Lead or support concept design, coordinate internal stakeholders and manage consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Oversee end‑to‑end project execution, monitor timelines, budgets and performance metrics, and proactively mitigate risks.
• Act as liaison between cross‑functional teams, clients and partners, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Track project budgets, conduct financial analysis, support contract management and drive cost optimisation.
• Mentor project managers, foster a high‑performance culture and promote continuous improvement and digital adoption.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Business or related field.
• 8–15 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in hospitality projects.
• Proven track record delivering complex, multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Strong contractor management and site coordination abilities.
• Prior leadership or team‑management experience is preferred.
