Assistant HR Manager – HR Operations

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant HR Manager to support HR Operations across our Southeast Asia region. The role partners with business leaders and employees to deliver end‑to‑end employee lifecycle services, drive HR programmes and improve operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, probation reviews and employee confirmations for assigned business units.
• Partner with department heads and line managers to understand manpower needs, provide HR advisory and support on employee‑lifecycle matters.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, resolve workplace issues and act as the liaison for HR‑related inquiries.
• Oversee daily HR operational activities, maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with data‑protection policies.
• Support performance‑management cycles, disciplinary cases and regional promotion processes.
• Assist in developing, reviewing and communicating HR policies and standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR operations or HR business partnering, preferably within a multi‑national environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and managers.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on employee experience.
• Knowledge of HR compliance, data‑protection governance and HR documentation best practices.
