Assistant HR Manager - Payroll & HR Operations

About the role

Fuku is looking for an Assistant HR Manager to run payroll accurately across multiple entities, keep HR operations compliant and help build a great employee experience. The role is based in Paya Lebar and is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Run monthly payroll for local and overseas staff, including income tax, reimbursements, CPF payments and tax filings, and check and verify payroll for different entities
• Spot, verify and resolve payroll discrepancies, and administer staff benefits and claims according to company policy
• Handle government claims and grants (NS, Maternity, Paternity, PSG, etc.) and answer employees' payroll queries promptly
• Liaise with IRAS, MOM, CPF and other statutory bodies on remuneration matters, prepare and submit surveys (MOM, CPF, SNEF, IMDA, Department of Statistics Singapore, etc.), manage licence applications and renewals, and manage WICA, Foreign Medical Insurance and Public Liability Insurance
• Respond to employee legal claims and benchmark market compensation and benefits
• Supervise, train and develop the HR and Admin team, and support project preparation and ad-hoc duties

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources or a related field
• At least 3 years of hands-on payroll experience
• Good knowledge of the Employment Act, HR regulations and payroll practices
• Detail-oriented, strong problem solver, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to stay calm and deliver in a fast-paced environment
