Assistant HR Manager (Recruitment)

About the role

The Assistant HR Manager (Recruitment) leads end‑to‑end talent acquisition and related HR functions, ensuring the organization hires the right talent on time. The role also oversees internship programmes, government grant administration, work‑pass compliance, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead regional recruitment processes from manpower planning to onboarding, partnering with hiring managers to align talent strategy with business goals.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines through job portals, career fairs, and educational institutions.
• Manage internship programmes, including coordination with schools, recruitment, onboarding, and grant compliance.
• Administer government grants related to recruitment and workforce development, ensuring documentation, timely submissions, and audit readiness.
• Support the performance management cycle, guiding managers on goal setting, reviews, and appraisal documentation.
• Oversee work‑pass applications, renewals, and cancellations in line with employment regulations.
• Implement employee engagement initiatives, manage bursary programmes, and handle employee grievances confidentially.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating HR policies to ensure legal compliance.

Required profile

• Relevant HR or recruitment experience, preferably in a multi‑regional environment.
• Strong understanding of Singapore employment regulations and work‑pass processes.
• Experience managing internship programmes and government grants.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
