Assistant Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Assistant Human Resources Manager supports the daily operations of the HR office at JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach. This role ensures recruitment, compensation, and employee relations processes run smoothly while complying with Singapore employment legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring HR team members.
• Maintain accurate employee documentation and personal files.
• Support the administration and communication of employee benefits, including unemployment claim handling.
• Coordinate new‑hire orientation and ongoing employee development programs.
• Perform data checks, reconciliation, and variance analysis related to HR metrics.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore’s Employment Act and related regulations.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field.
• Detail‑oriented with a high level of confidentiality and data accuracy.
• Analytical mindset with confidence in handling numbers and reports.
