Assistant IT Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Assistant IT Manager supports the implementation and day‑to‑day operation of information technology across the Hilton Singapore Orchard hotel. Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, you will ensure IT services are reliable, secure and aligned with Hilton’s technology strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver reliable, secure and efficient IT services to support hotel operations, guest services and business functions.
• Maintain IT systems, networks, applications and infrastructure to meet agreed service levels and brand standards.
• Manage and resolve guest and team‑member IT queries promptly, minimizing operational and security risks.
• Monitor system performance, availability and incidents, escalating issues as required.
• Support telephony, network and guest‑facing technologies to meet brand and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities to reduce IT operating costs through effective resource and vendor management.
• Assist in preparing, monitoring and controlling the IT budget.
• Provide IT support to other Hilton hotels when needed and cross‑train hotel IT personnel.
• Ensure data security, backup and recovery processes, access control and compliance with hotel security policies.
• Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning and drills.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage IT budgets and vendor relationships.
• Experience handling IT queries and delivering timely resolutions.
• Strong understanding of hotel‑specific technology requirements and brand standards.
• Capability to monitor system performance and enforce security policies.
