Assistant Manager, Collections, Receivables & Refunds

About the role

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely accounting of collections and refunds while supporting digital payment operations. Working closely with finance colleagues and various stakeholders, you will help strengthen collection processes and drive continuous improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Support daily collections, receivables and refund operations across multiple payment channels, including digital payments.
• Perform reconciliations, account analysis and monitor digital payment transactions for timely processing.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities, prepare journals, schedules and supporting documentation, and liaise with auditors.
• Partner with internal teams, banks, payment service providers and vendors to ensure smooth operations and provide financial insights.
• Prepare, update and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.
• Review business processes and contribute to efficiency and control improvements.
• Support system implementations and enhancements, including user acceptance testing, data validation and post‑implementation checks.

Required profile

• Knowledge in accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on, end‑to‑end finance operations experience, preferably in collections and refunds within digital payment environments.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and detail‑oriented mindset.
• Self‑driven, resourceful and able to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
