Assistant Manager - Costing & Pricing

About the role

Woodlands Hospital, a next-generation integrated acute and community hospital in Singapore, is looking for an Assistant Manager to support its financial planning and analysis and pricing and costing team. The role covers costing and pricing of services, system rollouts and enhancements, projections and budgeting, and provides technical expertise and leadership support to the Team Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Onboard the Costing Systemisation (CoSy) system and assist with the cost model for assigned areas
• Compute doctors' surcharges and work with HR and clinicians on monthly doctor payments
• Provide finance desk-head user support (business partnering) for costing, pricing, subsidies and charging queries
• Create and revise charge codes, including new services and system maintenance
• Review NBS service requests, retest fixes and rotate RPA bill checks with the team
• Run NBS2.0 UAT testing and project average bill size
• Assist annual fee revision reviews, including submissions to MOH and analysis of unendorsed revisions
• Carry out ad-hoc simulations and financial evaluations requested by MOH and support new packages

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Statistics or Business Analytics
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Healthcare experience in financial planning and analysis or management accounting is an added advantage
• Analytical, meticulous and adaptable, with good communication and teamwork skills

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP, Excel, National Billing System, RPA or analytical tools is an advantage
