Assistant Manager – Demand & Supply Planning

About the role

Join Nestlé Singapore as an Assistant Manager – Demand & Supply Planning and play a pivotal role in ensuring product availability across the market. You will work closely with marketing, sales channels, and supply chain functions to translate market insights into accurate demand forecasts and efficient supply plans.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with marketing and channel teams on new product introductions, end‑of‑life decisions, deals and events.
• Generate and maintain a consensus demand plan, reviewing sales trends and adjusting forecasts as needed.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to guarantee stock availability, monitor inventory levels and maintain product freshness.
• Drive continuous improvement of supplier performance and customer service metrics.
• Ensure compliance with quality (NQMS) and occupational health & safety (OHSAS) standards.
• Lead weekly demand plan reviews, post‑event evaluations and gap‑closing initiatives with channel partners.
• Support SAP version upgrades and supply‑chain efficiency projects.
• Prepare timely reports for management meetings and action plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience for diploma holders or 2‑3 years of planning experience for degree holders.
• Strong analytical and statistical mindset with a solid understanding of product and channel dynamics.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Hands‑on experience with SAP and APO planning tools.
• Knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques.
• Ability to analyse sales data and translate insights into demand plans.
