Assistant Manager – Financial Services Tax

About the role

This position offers a financial services tax professional the chance to support the development of a dedicated tax group. As an Assistant Manager, you will work closely with Managers and Partners to help banking, insurance, payments, wealth, asset management and family office clients meet their tax obligations and optimise their structures.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and review personal tax and GST compliance and advisory work for financial services clients.
• Ensure timely delivery of high‑quality tax services and maintain strong client relationships.
• Oversee compliance management processes, forecast workload and delegate tasks.
• Coach, train and supervise junior staff, handling staffing issues as needed.
• Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including proposal preparation.
• Collaborate with internal teams across the Forvis Mazars network.
• Participate in recruiting and ad‑hoc projects when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline, preferably with SCTP membership.
• 4‑5 years of business tax experience serving financial services clients.
• Strong understanding of Singapore tax policies for wealth and asset management.
• Leadership, project management and analytical abilities.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Team‑player attitude and motivation for career growth.
