Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage Procurement

About the role

The Assistant Manager, F&B OS&C Procurement will support the procurement team in sourcing, negotiating and managing supplies for food, operating supplies and related categories. Reporting to the team lead, you will ensure compliance with purchasing policies and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct procurement activities under the direction of the immediate team lead.
• Maintain adherence to company purchasing policies and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and refine administrative processes to improve efficiency.
• Create comprehensive commodity strategies, including sourcing approaches, supplier selection, cost and quality performance analysis, and logistics solutions.
• Lead supplier negotiations using market tests, long‑term agreements, cost modeling and predictive analytics.
• Perform in‑depth evaluations to achieve best‑in‑class pricing and total cost of ownership.
• Summarize sourcing recommendations and persuade stakeholders of the chosen solutions.
• Conduct annual business reviews with key suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Facilitate purchase orders and monitor supplier deliveries to meet service level agreements.
• Provide expert advice to user departments, ensuring timely and informed procurement decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably in Food or Operating Supplies categories.
• Strong project management ability with multitasking across multiple projects.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and critical‑thinking capabilities.
