Assistant Manager, Information Management

About the role

The University Advancement Office (UAO) at NTU is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Manager to support fundraising and alumni engagement through robust information management. You will work closely with the Information Management manager to ensure data integrity and enable effective outreach to donors, alumni, and prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the university's database management system to support donor and alumni outreach.
• Provide reliable data for marketing campaign analysis, research, and reporting.
• Support the development and upkeep of major systems and software used by the UAO and Office of Alumni Engagement.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data quality and timely delivery of insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent certification; diploma holders with extensive experience may be considered.
• Minimum three years of experience in database management.
• Proficiency in Chinese to review database records.
• Strong interpersonal, managerial, and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, meet tight deadlines, and handle ambiguity.

Required skills

• Experience with complex database management systems or large databases.
• Use of fundraising software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Basic web markup language coding (e.g., HTML/CSS).
